Basic characteristics:Qingpu District will take the beautiful countryside construction as the "accelerator" for the improvement of rural living environment, the "upgrade version" of construction of new socialist countryside and the "integration" of planning the work of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers as a whole. At the end of 2016, 50 township standard villages, 21 district standard villages and 8 municipal standard villages have been established. The project closely follows the practical guidance of "beauty in ecology, wealth in industry, and root in culture", and through the implementation of the exploration strategy of "three steps" of "remediation, wiping out the face, engaging in construction, strengthening the muscles and bones, developing and grasping the connotation" to lay the foundation with environmental remediation project, strengthen bones and muscles with projects focus, promote with the help of the culture industry. In addition, the project uses the three-pronged approach of regulation, construction and management to vigorously promote the construction of the beautiful countryside, makes efforts to bridge basic gaps, timely pay back the ecological debts, strives to improve rural living environment, actively creates the village with beautiful ecosystem, life, culture and industries, and provides the replicable and generable experience for the construction of beautiful villages in Shanghai and even the whole country.
